Private or Self Pay Medical Care is typically that care that:

• can be both critical and aesthetic (plastic surgery or dental) care that is needed by those that do not have insurance
  
• may only be partially covered under a mini-med type program that have caps on benefits or falls within the out-of-pocket range on a high deductible insurance plan
  
• is not covered or only partially covered under an insurance plan for those that have insurance, e.g., plastic surgery or dental care
